Before arriving at your Initial Assessment appointment, you will need to fill out the intake and consent form on the Jane website (booking website). This will help your practitioner understand your current health concerns before your first appointment.
During your Initial Assessment appointment you will receive...
* Consultation with you on your primary treatment goal
* Comprehensive body assessment
* Postural photos
* Full explanation of findings in your body
* 30-40 min Spinal Flow Technique treatment
* Discussion time to go over any questions, concerns or explanations needed.
Initial visit assessments and Spinal Flow treatments are performed fully clothed.
Please wear loose fitting clothing
(no spandex, shapewear, tight fitting leggings or jeans)
as they can interfere with access points.
During your Spinal Flow treatment you will lay on the massage table, face down and fully clothed. The practitioner will place bolsters underneath your hips and make gentle contact with specific points called access points on your sacrum and cranium. This will start a reflex action in your nervous system and bring awareness to the brain and send a message for the spine to release blockages.
In addition, the bolsters will offer support to and help correct any holding patterns in your hips as your body works to find and release blockages in the spine.
Spinal Flow treatments are very gentle, safe & non-invasive. There are no contraindications to receiving treatment.
During your initial visit your practitioner will consult with you on your primary treatment goal and give you options to book future spinal flow care. Spinal Flow is so safe and gentle that you can book multiple appointments in a week or even in one day. Frequency depends on the severity of your condition. Once spinal health is restored many clients enjoy regular spinal flow wellness care or maintenance which can help keep minor issues from becoming more serious.

A Duo Flow treatment session is the same as a Solo Flow treatment session except the difference is that the practitioner will work with two clients instead of one. The practitioner will move from one client to the next, maintaining attention to each client. The room will have music playing and there will be minimal communication. Your practitioner will never discuss anything private in a group room and will quietly relay to you any changes they feel in your spine after your session.
* Nourish your body with healthy food
* Make sure your body is well hydrated
* Going for walks in between your treatments can allow your body time to
assimilate the changes in your body.
* Journaling is a great way to support your mind as you release old patterns,
memories and feelings.
